Egypt Tours Without Shopping Stops

An Egypt tour without shopping stops does not add a shop, a showroom, or a commercial gallery unless you explicitly ask for that stop. A papyrus hall, a perfume counter, or a cotton showroom is not placed between monuments, and it is not written in after you book. If you ask for one, it becomes a line on the day you agreed. Asking for the stop is not an agreement to buy.

A named historic bazaar is different. On the Islamic Cairo, Citadel, and Grand Egyptian Museum tour, Khan El Khalili is a scheduled sightseeing stop. Booking that page includes it. You do not send a second request, and it is not an optional extra on that itinerary.

The published order is hotel pickup, the Citadel of Saladin, the Grand Egyptian Museum, a traditional Egyptian lunch, Khan El Khalili, and the drive back to your hotel in Cairo or Giza. The page describes open lanes and craft shops, with no entrance ticket. Browsing is free. Any purchase is your choice, and shopping purchases are not included. That hour belongs to this city day. It is not inserted into a pyramid morning.

What the other days include

On the four days below, a shop, a showroom, or a commercial gallery is not a scheduled stop. Khan El Khalili is not scheduled either. Each of these pages shows it only as an optional add-on. Leave that add-on off and the day does not go to the bazaar. Select it, and the bazaar is part of the day you chose. That choice does not change the Citadel day, where the bazaar is already listed.

The private half-day at the Giza Pyramids and Sphinx is hotel pickup, a panoramic view of the three pyramids, the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, the Great Sphinx, the Valley Temple of Khafre, and the return to your hotel. Lunch on that page is an optional add-on, not a scheduled stop.

The Giza Pyramids golf cart tour uses a private cart between the viewpoints. You still step out at each stop. The scheduled stops are the Giza plateau, the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, the Pyramid of Menkaure, the panoramic view, the Tomb of Meresankh III when it is open, the Valley Temple of Khafre, the Great Sphinx, and the return to your hotel. If the tomb is closed, the page says the guide continues the plateau circuit. The cart does not add a shop.

The Giza Pyramids and Grand Egyptian Museum day is the panorama, the three pyramids, the Great Sphinx, the Valley Temple of Khafre, a traditional Egyptian lunch, the Grand Egyptian Museum, and the return to your hotel. Inside the plateau, the free shuttle links the visitor stops, and your Egyptologist sets the pace. This page does not include a golf cart.

The Pyramids, Memphis, and Saqqara day is the panorama, the three pyramids, the Great Sphinx, the Valley Temple of Khafre, a traditional Egyptian lunch, Memphis, the Step Pyramid at Saqqara, and the return. Memphis and Saqqara are archaeological sites.

Wider Cairo days sit on Cairo and Giza tours. Plateau days sit on Giza Pyramids tours.

When you enquire

Name the page. The reply should repeat that page’s scheduled stops. A shop or showroom is included only if you asked for it. Khan El Khalili is included when you booked the Citadel day that already lists it, or when you selected the add-on on one of the pyramid pages above.
