Is the golf cart private?

Yes. The golf cart is reserved for your booked party and is not shared with travelers from other bookings. You also have a private licensed Egyptologist.

How much walking is still required?

The cart removes the long walks between viewpoints, but you still step in and out and walk at each stop for photos and guide time. Tell us about mobility needs when you book so we can confirm the pace suits your group.

Does the tour include the Great Sphinx?

Yes. The Great Sphinx is a standard stop, with time for photos and your Egyptologist's on-site storytelling.

Does the tour include the Tomb of Meresankh III?

Yes, when the tomb is open. It is a painted rock-cut tomb many plateau visits skip. If it is closed that day, your guide keeps the rest of the circuit (pyramids, panorama, Valley Temple, Sphinx).

Can I enter the Great Pyramid?

Going inside the Great Pyramid (King's Chamber) is optional for $30 per person and is not included in the base price. Your Giza Plateau entrance ticket — for the outdoor circuit — is included and arranged for you.

What is included in the price?

From $150 per person for 2+ travelers ($200 for one traveler): Giza Plateau entrance ticket, private golf cart, licensed Egyptologist, Cairo/Giza hotel pickup and drop-off, private air-conditioned vehicle, and bottled water. Camel ride, lunch, and Great Pyramid interior entry are optional extras.

How long does the golf cart tour take?

Typically 3 to 6 hours on the plateau circuit, depending on your pace and any optional stops. Hotel transfer time is extra and depends on your hotel location and traffic.

Cruise packages: child pricing follows the cruise operator’s tiers, which typically start at 50% for ages 2-11 sharing a cabin with 2 paying adults. Confirmed at booking.

Tipping Guidance

Tipping is customary in Egypt but never mandatory. Common traveler guidance:

Egyptologist guide (day tours): $10–15 USD per traveler for a great tour
Driver (day tours): $5 USD per traveler
Multi-day packages / cruises: $8–10 USD per traveler per day for the guide, $5 per traveler per day for the driver, $3-5 per traveler per day for cruise cabin staff and dining crew
