About Marvel Egypt Tours

Marvel Egypt Tours is an Egyptian tour company founded in 2002, with its office in Giza, on El Haram Street within sight of the Pyramids. We plan and operate private, Egyptologist-led tours across the country — from a half day on the Giza Plateau to two weeks that take in Luxor, Aswan, Alexandria and the Nile.

Every tour on this website is run by our own team. When you write to us, you reach the people who will plan your days, brief your guide, and pick up the phone if your flight lands late — not a booking platform passing your request to whichever local operator bids lowest.

Every Tour Is Led by a Licensed Egyptologist

Your guide is a licensed Egyptologist, and it changes the day more than most travelers expect. You are not following someone reciting dates at the entrance gate. You are walking with a guide who reads the reliefs with you, answers the question you actually asked, and knows which hall deserves twenty minutes and which deserves five.

It also sets the rhythm of the day. A guide who knows these sites knows when to arrive at the plateau, when a chamber is about to fill with three coach groups, and when to stop talking and let you look.

More than 95 licensed Egyptologist guides work with us across Egypt. They hold membership in the Egyptian General Tourist Guides Syndicate, the national professional body for licensed guides — so the person walking the temple with you is a licensed Egyptologist, not a driver reciting a script.

Private by Default — Your Group Only

We operate each day tour privately. Whether you travel solo, as a couple, or as a family of eight, the vehicle, the guide and the day belong to you. Nobody waits in a hotel lobby for eleven strangers, and nobody cuts your time at the Sphinx short because another family wants an early lunch. The itinerary can move with you: linger where you are enjoying yourself, skip what does not interest you, or start earlier to stay ahead of the heat.

One honest exception: on a multi-day Nile cruise the ship itself is a shared five-star vessel — that is simply how Nile cruising works. Your Egyptologist still guides your group privately at every temple stop, which is the part most cruises get wrong by loading forty strangers onto a shared bus at each site.

How a Marvel Tour Day Runs

We collect you from your hotel, arrange the entrance tickets listed on your tour page, and build in the pauses that make a long day in Egypt enjoyable rather than exhausting.

Before your tour day, a WhatsApp message reaches you with your pickup time and your guide’s details. It sounds like a small thing. It is what travelers thank us for most, because the night before a tour in an unfamiliar country is exactly when you want to know who is collecting you and at what time. If your plans shift, you reply on the same thread — there is no support ticket to file.

All-In Pricing and a Cancellation Policy You Can Actually Read

Prices on our tour pages are per person and all-in for what that page lists. Inclusions and exclusions are written on the page, not discovered on the day. On many tours the per-person price drops once two or more travel together, and where that applies we show both numbers side by side so you can see the condition attached to the lower one.

Cancellation is just as plain: cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your tour start time for a full refund, and weather-affected activities are refunded or rescheduled. The full terms are on our cancellation policy page.
