The Luxor–Aswan Nile cruise is one of the most efficient ways to visit Upper Egypt’s Ptolemaic and New Kingdom temples in a single trip. When to visit

October to April is the classic cruise season — daytime temperatures 22–28°C, clear skies, and calm river conditions. May to September is hot (35–42°C on temple visits) but cruise ships have AC and prices are lower. December–February evenings can be cool on the sun deck — bring a light jacket.
