The Giza Plateau is where most travelers begin Egypt: the Great Pyramid of Khufu, Khafre, Menkaure, and the Great Sphinx. Marvel runs private, Egyptologist-led tours here — from a focused half-day on the plateau to full days that continue to Saqqara, Memphis, and Dahshur, plus VIP golf-cart access and desert add-ons.

Pick the Giza day that fits your pace

If you want the classic plateau and Sphinx in a few hours, choose the half-day. If you want the story of pyramid-building across dynasties, add Saqqara and Memphis (and Dahshur when you want the Red and Bent Pyramids). Prefer less walking in the heat? The golf-cart VIP route keeps you close to the monuments. Want evening energy after the plateau? Pair Giza with camel or ATV time and a Nile dinner cruise.

Looking for museums, Islamic Cairo, or multi-day packages? Those live under Cairo & Giza tours — this page is only for pyramid-centered private days.

When to visit

Early morning is best for cooler air and softer light on the plateau. October–April is the most comfortable season; summer visits work with an early start and shade breaks. Entrance tickets and a licensed Egyptologist are included on every tour below.
